can i take any legal action against this bank?

Hi, I recently was working with my mother to get her a reverse mortgage loan, the gentleman we
worked with ensured us this was possible . We did all the requirements asked, like paid $100.00 for
councilling, paid $450.00 for a appraisal. The guy told us he had all the info and passed it on to a
lawyer that worked for the bank. Well come to find out this guy was fired and their was no lawyer
that worked for the bank and on top of that they outsource reverse mortgage loans, we were scammed
by this guy who worked for a reputable Bank ,CBC National bank. Is there any legal recourse we can
follow up on. He was and employee of that Bank at the time and they are ready to forclose on my
mothers house. Thank You...Bill
